Paul Randolph, Acting U.S. Trustee for Region 8, and Tim Niarhos, Assistant U.S. Trustee in Nashville, have the pleasure of announcing that Mike Abelow, Glen Watson, and Gulam Zade have been appointed to serve as chapter 7 panel trustees for the Middle District of Tennessee, effective May 30, 2025. 

Mike Abelow is an attorney and a Subchapter V trustee with a litigation and bankruptcy law background.  Mr. Abelow is on the management committee of his law firm, Sherrard, Roe, Voigt & Harbison, and he is a past president of the Nashville Bar Association.

Glen Watson is an attorney, a Subchapter V trustee, and a certified mediator.  Mr. Watson has extensive bankruptcy experience representing both debtors and creditors, and he is the managing member of his law firm, Watson Law Group PLLC.

Gulam Zade is an attorney with previous experience representing chapter 7 trustees. Additionally, Mr. Zade served as the CEO of a legal technology firm, the Chief Legal Officer of a multi-national outsourcer of back-office services, and as a receiver in many cases.  He is also a past president of the Nashville Bar Association, and he currently serves as president of Cards Consulting, a business advisory firm specializing in the corporate and private equity space.
