DOCKET HEARING INFORMATION & ADMINISTRIVE ORDER 22-5

New hearing information and procedures have been posted on the Court’s website at the Where & When? In-Person or Virtual? | Middle District of Tennessee | United States Bankruptcy Court (uscourts.gov) link. Please review the TNMB website as information regarding time, location, and manner in which hearings will be conducted has been published. This coming Tuesday will see the new hearing schedule and procedures take effect.  Please check the Docket Calendar for updated times and dates Docket Calendar | Middle District of Tennessee | United States Bankruptcy Court (uscourts.gov). Signs will be posted on the First and Second Floors alerting anyone conducting court business the location of the Joint Hearing Courtroom for the Chapter 13 motion docket and the Cookeville/Columbia dockets for the day. The Joint Location Courtroom will mostly be held in Courtroom Three, unless instructed otherwise.

Administrative Order 22-5, Order Regarding Procedures, Scheduling Court Matters, and Court Appearances, rescinds previous administrative orders implementing COVID-19 procedures and court appearances and replaces those procedures with the new hearing structure and processes. All administrative orders affecting practice in the Bankruptcy Court are located under the Local Rules tab of the court’s website (www.tnmb.uscourts.gov), Administrative Orders section.

In addition, the Practitioners’ Handbook (Practitioners Handbook | Middle District of Tennessee | United States Bankruptcy Court (uscourts.gov) has been revised to take into account the new procedures along with further tweaks to certain CM/ECF information areas which filers may find useful in conducting electronic bankruptcy filings in this district.
